This work is about taking a look inside the self, the beautiful ordered pattern within representing the equilibrium we might find in there. But the pattern is interjected with jagged shards, representing the difficulties that life brings us, that others and even ourselves bring us. These reflect bits of the pattern back all over the place, leaving us mixed up and confused. Once again time comes into play as it can take a lifetime and maybe more to grow and develop a nice balance with the self.
