As far as we can see – Beyond the universe

The sphere has a viewing lens and is lit from beneath. The viewer looks into it as with a microscope. The work is on the inside of the sphere.

We used to think the atom was the smallest building block. Now we know otherwise. Whether microscopically or telescopically what exists appears to go on infinitely. This work explores the concept that if all is interconnected, maybe the smaller and further inward you go, or the larger and more outward you go, perhaps you get to the same place.
